Frequently Asked QuestionsWe get asked a lot of questions, and see many questions come up time and time again. To save you time in e-mailing us, we have compiled a list of some of our most frequently asked questions. If your question is not listed below, please e-mail us.
I have an existing account at a poker room. Can I still get rakeback? In certain cases, yes. You can not be tracked to another affiliate however, as then there is no way you can get rakeback. Each case is different depending on the poker room, and how long you have been playing at the poker room etc. As each situation is unique, please send us an e-mail and we'll see what we can do.
However if you are asking about Full Tilt Poker - then no. Unfortunately, you are not able to get switched. You will have to go through Full Tilts main rakeback program, which is RakebackPros.com and be put on a waiting list where you will hopefully eventually get rakeback. Sorry.
Do you offer rakeback for Absolute Poker/Ultimate Bet?No. There was a scandal in 2007 involving these sites and superuser accounts, cheating players out of their money. We immediately removed them and severed our contract with them. We have absolutely no interest in promoting them at any time in the future. Basically I don't trust them - so why would I encourage my players to play there?
Furthermore, we are not happy with the level of customer service we receive from their affiliate department. We pride ourselves in providing our players the best customer service. If you e-mail us with an issue, we'll take care of it and have it resolved quickly. If it's urgent, we'll call the poker rooms affiliate departments personally, and get it dealt with immediately. With Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet, we were never happy with their level of service over the years, and would never be confident in them assisting us in a timely manner.
Do you offer rakeback at a room not listed on your site? Many poker rooms do not allow rakeback, for example Titan Poker or Party Poker. However if there is a site you are wanting rakeback for and they aren't listed on our site, e-mail us and if we're able to offer rakeback for that poker room, we'll do just that.
What type of games qualify for rakeback?
Ring games, Sit N Go tournaments, and Multi Table Tournaments where rake is taken all qualify for rakeback. It does not matter if you are playing full ring, short handed or heads up, if rake is taken you will earn rakeback. Play money tables, freerolls, and special events where the buy in is for example a Cake Gold chip do not earn a player any rakeback. Also, if you are in a rebuy tournament and rebuy, there is generally no rake taken for any rebuys or add ons you make, so you will not earn rakeback for these (but will for the initial entry fee.)
Is there rakeback for Sit and Gos (SnGs) and Multi Table Tournaments (MTTS)?
Players worry that they may not be able to earn rakeback for tournaments. Yes, you can earn rakeback at SnGs and MTTs on the sites we promote. In the past the Merge Network did not pay rakeback for tournament play, but that policy has changed and you now earn rakeback for SnGs and MTTs on Aced Poker as well. For example, if you enter a 10+1 tournament on Cake Poker you will get 30 cents back because that is 30% of the dollar in rake you paid for the tournament.
When is my rakeback paid out?
Rakeback payments vary from site to site or network to network. Some sites pay out monthly on a certain date, some sites pay out weekly, and some pay daily. Cake Network sites (Cake and Player’s Only) pay out rakeback during the first few days of the month. (So February Rakeback is paid by March 3rd or 4th.) Full Tilt and Bodog Rakeback is paid out by the 15th of the Month. Aced Poker makes rakeback payments EVERY DAY. Cellsino Rakeback is paid out at the start of each week.
